The Margaret River region is a leisurely three and a half hour (272km) drive south of Perth.It has a temperate mediterranean climate which makes it a pleasant place to be all year round.In Summer temps rarely rise above 32 degrees celcius, the winters are mild with averages about 18 degrees celcius during the day and 11 degrees celcius at night.

Each season reveals different aspects to appreciate, springtime signs of vibrant greens , exotic orchids and wildflowers, while Summer seduces with warm white sandy beaches and crystal clear oceans. In contrast during the autumn months, the vines display a palate or rusted reds, golden yellows and burnt orange colours, while winter provides the opportunity to be inspired by the magestic whales playing in the sheltered bays and to retire to a warm log fire.
